Stampin' Up! demonstrators across the country love to share ideas, and one of the best ways is to swap card fronts at our annual convention.  As a new demonstrator, I was apprehensive about joining in the Swap.  With all the talent in this company, I wasn't sure I could create something that others would want.  I was pleasantly surprised that my Mojo did not disappoint me, and I received positive feedback on my swap.  Here it is:

The stamp sets I used are SNOW MUCH FUN (#122560 wood mount) and DELICATE DOILIES (#122590 wood mount). The background is created using one of the doily stamps with VersaMark ink, then embossing the images with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  Over that is a layer of Melon Mambo card stock and Delicate Doilies Designer Series paper (it is so gorgeous).

Next I stamped the sweet snowman in Staz-On ink, cut him out, colored him with markers and sparkled him up with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Decided to add the little birdie on a snowball and used the same technique on him.  Then I glittered up a small pom pom and glued it the snowball image.

The greeting was stamped with VersaMark and then jazzed up with our new Melon Mambo embossing powder.

Everything was attached with Dimensionals to make it pop and I finished the card using 3 sizes of pearls from our Basic Pearls set.  (Looks like one of the buttons didn't make it back home).

You can order the items for this cute little card on my website by clicking below.  As always, I'm available to help with tips and directions.  Thanks so much for looking and Happy Stamping.

Making A Difference

Hi Friends:

I have just returned from the annual Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City, UT. It goes without saying that I am excited about the new SU products and projects; but I must share how I moved I was to learn of Stampin' Up!'s commitment to the Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. As you probably know, the RMH program provides a home near hospitals to families who need a place to stay while their child receives medical treatment.

The RMH near the Loyola Medical Center in the Chicago, IL suburbs was in need of a local Stampin' Up! demonstrator to take the lead, schedule the events, and stock the rooms with cards and with notes, which the families use to communicate with concerned folks back home.

It was an honor and a privilege for me to take on the role of Lead Demonstrator and my first official action will be to ensure you have some very heartwarming information about Stampin' Up!

Each year, Stampin' Up! designs an exclusive stamp set to help raise money for the RMH charity. And for the first time, this year Stampin' Up! is donating $3.00 to the charity for each stamp set purchased.

Check out this cute stamp set & visit my website by clicking here to order your own (and input 122870 for wood mount or 122872 for clear in the search box). If you are new to stamping, you may want to consider the stamp pads and paper, also available in my online store. No other products you order however, will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

Thanks so much for helping out.

This new stamp set is so much fun to play with!   Here is a quick and easy Birthday Card made with it.

Using Daffodil Delight, plus new in-colors of Lucky Lime Aid and Calypso Coral, the patterns were stamped on Whisper White card stock, punched out with our new Petite Pennants Builder and mounted on new in-color Pool Party card stock.  The pennants are popped up with dimensionals, then pieces of White Baker's Twine are added on the ends to give the illusion of a banner.  And check out the trim under the pennants!  It is made with our new Lace Ribbon Border punch!  Cute or what?  Email me for a list of supplies and step-by-step instructions to make this cute card.  Thanks so much for looking and Happy Stamping!
